Support Osprey Wilds

Together we can make a real difference, nurturing stewards of the Earth who will help ensure that future generations have a healthy planet to enjoy and call home.

Your generous gifts touch the lives of literally thousands of children, young people, and adults each year. Contributions support our wide array of programs, keeping costs affordable for the scores of schools that take advantage of our environmental learning offerings, as well as for participants in camps, family and adult programs, and community activities. Gifts to our scholarship fund allow us to target financial assistance where it’s most needed, reaching a larger, more diverse student population. Your support is also a vital investment in the care of the lands, waters, and creatures on our beautiful 780-acres.

If you are 70-1/2 or older, contributing from your IRA may be a great way for you to support Osprey Wilds.

A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), also know as an IRA rollover gift, allows donors 70½ or older to transfer up to $100,000 directly from their IRA to charities like Osprey Wilds each year.  An IRA rollover gift is a tax-exempt distribution. Qualifying individuals can make charitable gifts using pre-tax IRA assets rather than taking a taxable direct distribution. An IRA rollover gift can be used to meet all or part of an IRA required minimum distribution.

Your gift will honor the person with a tangible commitment to a positive environment for future generations. All memorial and honorary gifts are acknowledged to both the donor and the family or designated representative of the person being recognized.
