Goldsworthy Bio:
Cory Goldsworthy was born, raised, and learned to chase all varieties of fish and wildlife in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula under the purview of an iron-mining father and a mother who was a nurse (folks that knew the “Goldsworthy Boys of North Lake” might even call her a Saint). He graduated from Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin with a Bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management and went on to complete his Master’s degree with the Tennessee Cooperative Fishery Research Unit at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. He began working for the Minnesota DNR in 2006 as a temporary biologist and worked in the West Metro, Duluth, and Lake Superior offices as a fulltime biologist before becoming the Lake Superior Area Fisheries Supervisor in 2014. In his spare time, Cory enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, coaching hockey, hunting and fishing, and teaching his boys just how spectacular the world outdoors can be.
