Learn the basics of canning during our WILD workshop on Sunday, July 30th. The day will be a hands-on learning experience for all skill levels to enjoy! Enjoy a fresh lunch with ingredients from our very own Trapp Farm then make your own jam and pepper jelly using a few simple ingredients.
An optional tour of Trapp Farm will take place at 10 am. Learn about our no-till methods and how we grow produce using organic techniques.
Jolene is the Finance Manager here at OW who also currently operates her own farm, Rocky Acres Simply Spice, following similar environmentally friendly practices. She has always had farming in her blood as she grew up in the berry fields in Bayfield. Berries used in class will be provided from her aunts farm while the rhubarb and peppers will come from her own farm.
