Fresh food is always a delight, and even more so when you are the one who makes the meal. In this camp for Grades K-7, participants will explore the ways we get our food, harvest fresh produce from our very own Trapp Farm, practice safe food prep, and serve the creations you make for snack or lunch. Each day will feature a different recipe and highlight a vegetable or fruit that can be grown in central Minnesota. Lunch and two snacks are provided each day.
This camp will be split into two grade ranges– entering K-3rd and 4-7th grades. Camp runs from 9 am – 4 pm each day with a culminating family food tasting and campfire at 3 pm on the last day. Transportation to and from Sandstone for select locations is available.
Space is limited. This camp has a pay-what-you-can fee with a suggested amount of $375 per camper for the week.
