Learn the basics of canning during our WILD workshop on Saturday, August 28. The day will be a hands-on learning experience for all skill levels to enjoy! Tour our new farm, pick fresh, organic cucumbers, then make your own pickles and relish using a few simple ingredients. Learn how to keep your pickles crisp without the use of additives.
We will be using a hot water bath canning technique for the pickles and relish and will discuss other ways to can. Osprey Wilds will provide everything needed for this day, including canners, jars, vegetables, safe handling equipment, and other needed ingredients (garlic, dill, jalapenos, etc.).
$25 per person
Pricing includes lunch and supplies for canning. All participants will leave with at least one quart of pickles, a half pint of relish and the knowledge that you can CAN!

About WILD Workshops
Each month, a community member will offer a class that will take place on our campus in Sandstone, Minnesota. These classes are created for adults, but younger students (16+) with parental supervision are welcome to join. Lunch will be provided.
