Have you ever wondered what about that gray-green stuff growing on rocks and trees? Have you heard the word “lichen” but are still confused about what it is? This hike will answer these questions and more as we explore the weird world of lichens and the role they play in creating a
livable planet.

We will be outside for about 1.5 hours and hike approximately one mile. All ages are welcome.  An adult must accompany participants under 16.  Free
