Please read all the information below before registering:
- Workshop Registration Fee: $205 includes Friday night – Sunday afternoon lodging & meals; three outdoor skill classes, evening program and campfire.
- Instruction, equipment and fun are all included.
- Scholarships are available for first time participants in need of financial assistance. Please contact linda.bylander@state.mn.us for an application form. Your application must be approved before submitting your registration form.
- Please bring a new or slightly used item to be placed on our Silent Auction Table! Bring cash or checkbook for the auction as we cannot take credit cards. We have great items to bid on and it is a lot of fun! Money is used for scholarships.
- Meals are buffet style. Please notify us on the registration form of any special dietary restrictions or food allergies.
- The registrant recognizes that the program involves some risk and that she takes responsibility for all action or injury that may result by participating.
- Girls, aged 14-17, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. As the parent or legal guardian of the person aged 14-17, I certify by registering that she has my permission to attend and participate in all activities for this event and I take responsibility for all action or injury that may result by participating.
- I understand that photographs may be taken during the sessions and may be used for future support of the program.
- Lodging is in dorm rooms on bottom bunks in both Crosby and Lowry Lodges. Please list roommate preference and note if your group would like to use top bunks to keep a larger group together. Note: Lowry Lodge is located further from the main building. If you have limited mobility, or prefer not to be housed at Lowry, please choose the Crosby option.
- You can see the course schedule and class descriptions here. Please read this carefully then choose one class per session on the registration form. Classes with an (*) require a $5 fee payable the day of event. They show as free on registration because you do not pay for them in advance. Bring cash with you, as there is not an ATM on campus. Classes are first come, first served. If your chosen class is full, you should select your second choice. If you then want to be added to the waiting list for your first choice, email Frontdesk@OspreyWilds.org and you will be notified if there is a cancellation or a space becomes available.
- Cancellation deadline is Dec 19; if you cancel before Dec 19 a $50.00 processing fee will be deducted from your refund. Registrants canceling after that time will be assessed the full registration fee. Sorry, due to contract obligations no exceptions to cancellation policy.
- You will be sent an email confirmation that your registration has been received. This might go straight into your spam filter, so if you do not see the confirmation, check there first. If nothing has been received, contact Frontdesk@OspreyWilds.org.
A packet of information will be emailed to you by December 22, confirming your class choices and including what to bring to the workshop.
