A life-long resident of the north shore of Lake Superior, Travis was born in Grand Marais, Minnesota and resides in Grand Portage. He is proud to be a citizen of the Grand Portage Anishinaabe Nation. He has been photographing the north shore for over 25 years and loves to combine photography with his other favorite activities of hiking, biking, paddling and skiing.
