Registration is now open for our Virtual Summer Camp, July 13 – July 17. Campers will receive a care package with supplies, activities, a T-shirt, and more– plus daily schedules, virtual modules, and live interactive sessions with camp counselors. We will work with campers to make sure they can have a safe, enjoyable, camp-like experience at home.
This camp is recommended for campers ages 9-14. We encourage younger children to participate with parental support. Each day will have a new theme, activities, check-ins, and live video programming.
Our care packages will include the supplies and instructions for activities, crafts, and outdoor projects, so parents and guardians don’t need to worry.
Camp care packages make great gifts for families, neighbors, friends, schoolmates, etc. Space is limited.
Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 17
9:00 am-4:30 pm
*During the morning and afternoon activity blocks there will be three guided lessons–one written, on prerecorded, one live.
There will be 3 activities a day–at least one will be live every day
Specific supplies needed for each activity will be sent in your camper’s care package. Some items, like scissors, will not be included.
Campers age 9-14 should be able to do the activities without parents helping them to complete the activities. Campers younger than 9 should have a parent assist them in completing some or all of the activities. Campers will be asked to go outside to complete activities!
While Osprey Wilds staff will be providing guidance and instruction, digital instruction is not a replacement for in-person supervision. Parents/Guardians must be present and aware of camper’s activities during virtual camp and should expect to:
Campers will be divided into virtual “rooms” based on age grouping. We anticipate each room will have between 5-8 campers. Each group will have its own dedicated camp counselor who will check in with them and be available to answer questions.
Campers will be with the larger group during some live activities (such as our Camp In!) but will be divided into breakout groups for discussion or other more in-depth instruction as needed.
