Participants in this course will learn to be better observers of the landscape, to put together observations with coherent stories. These skills have universal application. Participants will learn how to identify common Minnesota plants and how disturbance on the landscape affects plant communities, patterns and distribution. You will apply research and observation skills to interpret various stories on the landscape, enabling you to put together stories of “what happened here”.
