Experience the quiet beauty of Minnesota in winter as you learn about how the landscapes and wildlife adapt to the colder temperatures, and search for rare birds in Sax Zim Bog.

Cure that winter blues with birding and blissful nature walks in the glittering landscapes of Minnesota. Study how the cold weather impacts local plant and animal life as you learn how to track mammals through a blanket of fresh snow. Discover sparkling lakes by cross-country ski and snowshoe to experience the region in a way people seldom do. Explore some of the 300 miles of Sax Zim Bog with the experts who know the best birding spots to search for species that rarely found in the lower 48 be found in the lower United States. World-renowned for its winter birds, you’ll explore parts of Sax Zim Bog not available to the public for a truly one of a kind experience in this winter wonderland.
