Pinnate. Serrated. Glabrous. Some field guides have technical jargon that can be daunting for new foragers, and every book seems to have a different way to organize its information! Join us for our next Foraging 101 webinar to learn the basics of plant and fungi terminology and how to use your field guide.
This session is for those with little to no botany experience!
If you already have a field guide that you like to use, or one that you have procured but don’t know how to use yet, bring it along for the session!
Meet Ashley, Osprey Wilds’ Fellowship Coordinator, and avid forager! Although Ashley is well-versed in foraging, this is not a substitute for doing your own research about what you want to forage. Safety should be put first when foraging to avoid eating something that will make you sick.
