Added Fun
Activities
Regardless of why you are visiting Osprey Wilds, we have some fun activities for all ages. Choose from a variety of team building, challenge, adventure, and naturalist programs.
Just as you can’t seesaw by yourself, there are many challenges in life that will be easier and more fun with a team. Through various challenges, obstacles, games and scenarios, you’ll identify and develop skills of teamwork, cooperation, trust, problem solving and communication that your group will carry with them when they leave.
Challenges overcome as a group make us grow as a team.
This team challenge course incorporates the individual and teamwork challenges of group initiatives with challenge elements no more than 3 feet off the ground. This program is ideal for building group cohesiveness, communication and team problem-solving.
Experience a true ‘high’ and stretch yourself physically and mentally on our multi-level, lighted High Ropes Course. The world looks different from a bird’s eye view; challenge yourself to climb high and have courage as you soar to new heights.
You’ll receive the proper equipment and instruction to traverse cables, rope, wooden beams and a zipline—all 20-40 feet off the ground while attached to safety cables. Work with a partner to challenge yourself, build confidence and discover your inner strengths!
You’ll find it an exhilarating experience and the view of the landscape from that height is unbeatable. Once through, you’ll be asking to go up again.
Ready to climb higher in life? Our 30-foot tall, 2,200 square foot climbing wall is the perfect setting to push yourself physically,
encourage teammates, set goals and draw inspiration from climbing principles that correlate to everyday life.
The feel of gliding through the water with a paddle in your hands is magic. Our seasoned staff will help you learn the strokes and skills of flat-water canoeing on beautiful Grindstone Lake. You’ll paddle in pairs but bond as a group.
Your group will learn about the life long sport of bow and arrow target shooting.
Find out about eye dominance, parts and handling of archery equipment, proper shooting stances, safety procedures, and then do some practice target shooting.
Osprey Wilds has a number of educational raptors (non-releasable) as well as an American Crow, Common Raven, North American Porcupine, Domestic Rabbit, and a variety of native reptiles, amphibians and fish. This ‘wild staff ’ is used in a variety of wildlife programs, such as “Silent Hunter”, “Minnesota Wildlife”, “Falconry” and “North Woods Niches”. Ideal for groups of all ages.
