As a leader in wolf research\, Minnesota is looked upon by other states as well as countries around the world as an example of how wolves and humans can co-exist with research and management. \nOther topics covered in lecture and fieldwork include: \n\nWolf Ecology and observation of captive wolves\nPredator & Prey Relationships\n Tracking & Sign Reading\nAerial Radio Telemetry Flights\nHabitat Analysis\nWinter Plant ID\nWinter Ecology\nWinter First Aid and Safety\nXC Skiing & Snowshoeing\nMap & Compass Skills\n\n\n \nCourse Visits Include:\n\nOsprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center\nEly\, Minnesota\nMN State Parks\nWildlife Science Center \nInternational Wolf Center\nNorth American Bear Center \nSuperior National Forest \nSandstone Wildlife Management Area \nMinnesota’s North Shore of Lake Superior\nBoundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness\n\n\nCourse Fee: $2\,695\nPlease register online using the link below. A $100 deposit is due at the time of registration. Full payment is due by December 12\, 2025. An airport shuttle service is available for $40 each way. Payments can be made using a credit card or check.  \nAll fees to Osprey Wilds are non-refundable.
