This course looks at the environmental, economic and health impacts of food systems of society. We will examine how we can move to sustainable food systems through behavior changes towards local, organic and community shared models, and visit local farms.
This is one of the environmental education courses we offer through Hamline University’s Graduate Professional Development Program (Continuing Studies). We do also make this course available on an audit basis (not-for-credit) for those interested.
The fee for this course on an audit basis is $175/adult. That includes shared lodging, all meals and instruction (university credits do not apply to audited courses).
