DESCRIPTION:Family Explore Days		\n				\n				\n				\n			wildlife		\n				\n				\n				\n			Saturday\, January 17		\n				\n				\n				\n					\n			\n						\n		\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					Learn about native Minnesota wildlife\, engage with your environment\, and enjoy a meal on our campus.\n				\n				\n				\n							\n							\n							\n					\n			\n							\n								\n					\n		\n				\n			\n							\n						\n				\n					Choose from any of our program options below to attend\, and stay for a from-scratch lunch in our dining hall!\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					Program Options: Minnesota Wildlife (offered AM and PM)Native wildlife plays an important role in our ecosystems and daily life. Meet our live animal ambassadors up close to discover more about Minnesota’s native wildlife and how they fit into our local environment through a guided hike. Bird Basics and Beyond (offered AM and PM)All birds have some basic features in common\, but it is their unique design and features that allows them to survive in every habitat on earth. Hike on our birding trail as you learn about bird characteristics\, biology\, and simple field identification techniques. Creepy Crawly Creatures (offered AM and PM)Become Herpetologists in this hands-on class! Experience the creepy\, crawly\, and often misunderstood world of reptiles and amphibians\, then go on a “hunt” for frogs\, toads and salamanders and try to spot or catch them where they live. \n				\n				\n						\n					\n		\n				\n			\n					\n							\n								\n					\n		\n								\n					\n		\n				\n						\n							\n					\n			\n							\n						\n				\n			Pricing		\n				\n				\n				\n					Classes are $20 each\, and lunch is $10. Mix and match what works best for you! \n				\n				\n				\n				\n					This event is open to all members of the community.
