Enjoy delicious food and hear from a keynote speaker from Nate Toering\, Director of Communications and Education at the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway.  \n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n																					\n				\n				\n						\n					\n		\n								\n					\n		\n				\n				\n					NPS/Eret \n				\n				\n				\n				\n					Flowing through 255 miles of the most scenic and least developed country in the Upper Midwest\, the St. Croix and Namekagon rivers teem with life and have figured prominently in the lives of people who have come in contact with these waters. She worked in politics and government in St. Paul and Washington\, DC\, grew her first vegetables on rooftops in Brooklyn\, and fell in love with grass-based livestock farming as an intern at Kinderhook Farm in the Hudson Valley of Upstate New York. She returned home to Minnesota and began her pastured pig operation\, Belly Rub Bacon\, in 2015 at beautiful Dancing Winds Farms outside of Kenyon\, MN\, formerly a popular goat dairy run by Mairi Doerr.
